Sewer Rates (New Rates Effective 1/1/23)
The sewer rate is $7.91 per thousand gallons. The City passed a new Ordinance in February allowing for a summer sewer rate. During the months of November to April, your sewer use is based on your water usage for that month. For the months of May through October, a summer sewer rate is calculated on average usage for the prior 6 months (Nov - Apr). This is beneficial to residents because it allows them to water their lawns and gardens during the hotter months and avoid paying a large sewer rate.
Stormwater - Residential & Commercial Usage (New Rates Effective 1/1/23)
Property Type | 2022 Fee Amount | 2023 Fee Amount |
---|---|---|

Multi-Family (3 Units or More) | $35.31 | $37.08 |
Commercial / Industrial | $35.31 | $37.08 |
Water Testing Fees
There is an annual Federal Mandated Testing Fee of $9.72 per connection. Beginning in 2023, the City will charge $0.81 per month for every water connection to cover costs. This testing includes sending random samples to the state every week to be tested for bacteria, and once a year for lead and copper.
