Community Park Ice Rinks

Ice Rink - NF - 370x370

The main ice rink and the adjacent recreational rink at Community Park will be prepped and made available in the coming days.

Ice rink flooding has been on hold because of temperatures in the mid-50s last week and forecasted temperatures in the mid-40s this week. The Public Services Department is planning to start flooding ice rinks Monday, December 28, based on predicted temperatures. Flooding will occur in the early morning hours and in the late evening hours until a sufficient depth of ice has been reached. Ice should be ready in 7 to 10 days, if temperatures cooperate.

Open or closed signs will be clearly posted next to the rinks.

Updates regarding the ice rinks will be posted on the City's website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.
